The Durndell family opened Oakley Self Service in 1964 as a grocery and general store. A chance conversation with a local gas supplier led them to diversify into selling mobile gas heaters and gas for cooking.
Forty years later, Oakley Self Service is now one of the largest independent retailers of Flogas bottled gas in the UK, making daily deliveries to over 120 villages in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
We offer a full range of propane and butane for all applications from a 3.9kg propane for a blow torch to a 47kg propane for a domestic central heating system. In addition, we stock a large range of LPG regulators, hoses, miscellaneous fittings as well as mobile gas heaters and cooking rings.
We pride ourselves on giving our customers the best possible service.
